A hybrid learning approach is viable and effective to meet the needs of customers in our ever changing work environment. The Leica SMART Plan is designed to meet these needs and accommodates different learning styles and schedules. Training options include Virtual Training, Self-Guided Online classes and Onsite Training. Scroll down to find out more about our training options.
Virtual Training
Virtual Training includes live instructors using streaming technology to teach customers about our hardware and software solutions. Customers use software and provided data in real time to work through program features and workflows.
Scheduled 2024 Virtual Class Dates
Virtual classes are offered monthly on a variety of HDS hardware and software topics. Courses typically run in two hour blocks and they are delivered across the GoToTraining platform. The platform allows for live interaction between instructors and customers through, video, messaging and screen sharing. The 2024 virtual training dates are listed below. Virtual classes can be purchased individually, in blocks of classes or through our Leica Smart Plans. Smart Plan customers can register for unlimited virtual classes held on dates listed below. The following lists the virtual classes offered and they are organized by Hardware and Software. The classes are rotated monthly. If a certain class is not offered one month, please reach out to rc.training.geo@leica-geosystems.com and the team will do their best to offer it in the next virtual training week.

Preparing for your Virtual Class
- Register in advance, registration closes 24 hours before the scheduled class time
- Download designated software, install and license it
- Download and unzip class datasets
- Set aside enough dedicated time for the class
Self-Guided Online Classes
A variety of self-guided classes are offered online allowing students to learn at their own pace and timeline. The classes step students through the material in a logical format, provide videos and sample datasets for hands-on exercises. These classes are offered through two different websites. Some of the material is created from our European partners and posted through myLearning on myWorld and other classes are offered through Teachable.
myLearning on myWorld
There are several relevant HDS topics covered on this site including classes on the RTC360, Cyclone REGISTER360, CloudWorx for AutoCAD, Infinity, GS18i and others. To access these classes, the site requires customers to have a current Customer Care Package (CCP) and a myWorld Account. Click below to access myWorld.

On-Site Training
On-Site Training involves a Leica training representative traveling to your work place to train up to 8 employees in 2-4 day increments. For training prices, please send an email to rc.training.geo@leica-geosystems.com.

We are excited to announce that HDS University will run again in October 2024. The event will be held in Tucson, AZ the week of October 7-10, 2024. Registration for this event will be available in May 2024.
